In his 25 years of start-up activity, he has been a part of over 1,500 rounds of financing as an investor, founder, or adviser. Has help build, financed, and advised over 200 start-ups over the last 10 years as co-founder and general partner of Wasabi Venture LLC.

Jeff Musgrove

Co-Founder and Operating Partner

Jeff brings over 30 years experience starting, turning around and running businesses driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for disruption. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he always saw minor league sports ownership as a place to apply the disciplines from his work with startups to drive growth for the teams, create a unique fan experience and build community engagement. At Wasabi Ventures Sports Management, Jeff is part of the investment and diligence process and then works with the team’s owners and staff on strategic initiatives and execution plans.

Brian O. Jordan

Operating Partner

Brian O. Jordan is a former Major League Baseball outfielder and National Football League safety. For almost 20 years, Jordan has helped make sports history as a leader on both the baseball and football fields, an uncommon occurrence in professional sports. In the NFL, he played for the Atlanta Falcons. When playing MLB he played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Texas Rangers. The Baltimore native has contributed more to Atlanta, St. Louis, and other cities than just home runs and bone-jarring tackles. Jordan is an Emmy award-winning sports analyst for Bally Sports South and a recurring broadcast personality for the MLB Network, Sports South. Jordan currently serves as a TV pre-game analyst for the Atlanta Braves on Braves Live, the official pregame show on Bally Sports South. He has participated in the Georgia Public Broadcasting family as a game analyst for Football Fridays in Georgia, covering high school games across the state of Georgia. Jordan is active in the community with the Brian Jordan Foundation and has authored several children’s books, including a best-seller, I Told You I Can Play! which reflects on his own childhood.

Chris Eldridge

Chris has been involved with building startups and investing for over a decade and has a passion for sports and competition. He has worked at multiple venture capital firms and helps startups grow and scale through his operational expertise and pairing the right technology to help achieve their goals.Chris lives in New Hampshire with his wife Caitlin and is active in his community as a Lieutenant for the Barrington Fire Department. When he is not working, he spends time volunteering at Camp Takumta in Vermont and loves to spend time boating on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Diana (Dede) Frothingham

Dede is happiest when she is surrounded by her family and enjoying time in the great outdoors. She spends most of her year in Southern NH and her family’s log cabin in the woods of Maine. Her summers are spent on a tiny island off the coast of Massachusetts- working, paddleboarding and looking for sea glass. Dede handles all of the back-office details related to the Wasabi VC Funds. She brings extensive experience in the fund/vc, private and non-profit sectors, managing the finances for small to multi-million dollar enterprises and handling micro to midsize funds. On the institutional side, she has led organizations through all stages of financial development, from start-up, capital raises, valuation reporting, operational management, through workouts, turnarounds, growth and spin out. On the fund side, she has managed dozens of funds through all stages of their life cycle- handling all details from research to SEC reporting to payout of carry/returns.
