RAMSEUR, NORTH CAROLINA – The Old North State League has selected the Clayton Clovers to host the 2024 All-Star Game. Game day festivities will also include a Home Run Derby. The Clovers joined the ONSL in 2023 and finished their inaugural season as runner-up in the playoffs.
Eric Sibrizzi, the commissioner of the ONSL, shared his thoughts about the 2024 selection. “We believe the Clovers will do a great job of delivering a great experience for the players and fans of the ONSL and for the Clayton community. Personally, the town of Clayton holds a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to celebrate the best of the best in our league in June!”
The 2024 All-Star Game will be played at 7:00 PM on June 29th at East Clayton Community Park, which is located at 1774 Glen Laurel Road in Clayton, NC. The Home Run Derby will be held in the afternoon before the game- the time will be announced at a later date
Louis DeCarolis, one of the founders of the Clovers, described his excitement about delivering this event to the ‘good folks’ of Johnston County. “We pride ourselves on being an affordable entertainment venue for families in the Clayton community, and this event will be a great addition to all that the Clovers have to offer. We are excited to work alongside Alec and Eric to not only make this a tremendous event for our fans, but our league, players, and staff members as well.”
The Old North State League is a summer collegiate baseball league located across the state of North Carolina. It has grown to be one of the largest leagues in the country.
